Museum in Warsaw

The impressive spaces of the Polish History Museum include not only exhibitions and exhibits, but also workspaces for researchers, administration, service and catering, as well as for viewers, for whom we also provided bathroom built-ins. This unique project required the use of natural materials for furniture and built-ins to correspond with the stone walls and brass accents found throughout the building.

That's why we equipped the restaurant area (the restaurant located on the first floor and the bistro located on the first floor) with wooden tables, counters, and an island. Warm shades of wood contrast with the cool stone of the walls, with sturdy and durable benches maintained in a minimalist style in the corridors throughout the building.

The rich book collection is housed in the magnificent library, where the entire space is filled with furniture such as bookcases, tables, chairs, and a reception counter, while the administrative staff's offices, in addition to the furniture itself, have been protected with wood upholstery, allowing for comfortable concentrated work and proper cataloging of the museum's collection.

The unusual nature of the building is also a place for many meetings, so some of the space is designed for group work and active contact with the public, so we took care of a consistent image of the environment in the conference areas.
